Colossians 4:6

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

The term “seasoned with salt” means witty; not dull or flat. This tells us that people who have questions about the faith deserve more than just clichés about Jesus. The Scripture commissions us to take the time to learn more about the Bible and make an attempt to understand the questions that this generation is asking about God. This is both our responsibility and our privilege.  ~ Dave Whitehead, Senior Pastor, GraceNYC.org
