Then he said to them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”
The Bible says we must “give to Caesar,” that is, pay our taxes. But Caesar apparently does not trust us; he takes his off the top. The Lord could take His portion out of our income too, but He doesn’t work that way. He wants us to offer it to Him. ~ Dr T. Evans
