Genesis 16:13

She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.”

This is the prayer of Hagar, the slave of Abraham and the mother of his illegitimate son, Ismael. God was in the midst of one of Abraham’s greatest mistakes, and He is a redeemer of our mistakes as well. So don’t think that God will not intervene because your life is suffering from a major failure. He not only sees the story of our lives—He reveals Himself to us in the midst of our faults.  ~ Dave Whitehead, Senior Pastor, GraceNYC.org
