Deuteronomy 32:47

“They are not just idle words for you—they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

The Scripture was never meant to be good advice or a philosophical option — it was made to be the very source of our life. When we treat the Bible as one option of many, we don’t experience the life changing force that God breathed into it — it will just be words on a document. But when we approach the Bible with the intent to obey all that we see, the Scripture comes alive and becomes a guide for us into our promised land.  ~ Dave Whitehead, Senior Pastor, GraceNYC.org
