Hebrews 6:18

God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged.

When our lives seem to be falling apart, we have something to cling to—the unchangeable nature of God. This brings a hope that we can stand on—a hope that will fill our soul with courage. God wants us to take hold of this hope, in fact, He expects us to do so, because His nature is the most stable thing in the universe. So don’t shrink back from God’s gracious offer, for when He offers his promises, He is offering Himself.  ~ Dave Whitehead, Senior Pastor, GraceNYC.org
