Hebrews 13:1-2

Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

God is our Father, so we are to treat each other as family. But God is also the stranger, for He came to earth as a man in Jesus Christ and is calling us back from exile to Himself. When we take this attitude toward those around us, we express the heart of God to those we know and to those we have never met before. Who knows? You may even entertain angels.  ~ Dave Whitehead, Senior Pastor, GraceNYC.org
