Matthew 18:2-3

He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

It seems that the great virtue of a mature Christian is not sophistication, but innocence toward the things of God. Could the comfort of our knowledge of the way the world works stifle our wide-eyed wonder of Christ and His work?
