Psalm 5:3

In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.

Notice that David gives us a template to start our day by making our requests known to God. But he doesn’t stop there; he then waits in expectation. What would change in our routines if we expected God to answer our prayers? Do we keep alert the rest of the day, knowing that God hears our voice?  ~ Dave Whitehead, Senior Pastor, GraceNYC.org
