Titus 2:1

You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.

The word doctrine can cause some Christians to react. Yet when Paul writes to Titus, he places proper doctrine at a very high place. This means that we don’t just love God with our hearts, but our minds as well. So don’t avoid doctrine just because it’s difficult; be willing to explore truths that have been taught for centuries. Sound doctrine has stood the test of time, it speaks to our generation, and it can guide your life toward the future.  ~ Dave Whitehead, Senior Pastor, GraceNYC.org
