What an amazing statement. Rome was the center of the Gentile world, and the church was flourishing in the midst of Rome. If the gospel can make that kind of impact in ancient Rome, what can it do in our cities today? The apostle Paul’s letter to the Romans reminds us that our neighborhoods can be known for more than an economy or quality of life.
