Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Thus starts an exuberant psalm of praise. This is not just on outward routine. The Psalmist tells us that praise engages every part of us; praise demands our intellect, our emotions, and our will. Going through the motions is not enough from the Scripture’s perspective.
