These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It\u2019s only nine in the morning! No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: \u201c\u2018In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Logic would tell us that a dissident group would disperse once their leader has been killed, but the exact opposite happened with the disciples of Jesus. They gathered. They prayed. Then the most amazing thing happened\u2014suddenly there was a manifestation of God\u2019s Spirit that captured the attention of the main marketplace of Jerusalem! The barrier of sin between God and mankind was destroyed, and once that happened the Holy Spirit was poured out upon all of God\u2019s people.
