We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Have you ever felt so overwhelmed that you despaired of life? You\u2019re in good company. Paul was at the end of his rope, but He realized that God had orchestrated the entire episode. Paul was learning not to rely on his feelings or his circumstances, but to rely on the God who raises the dead. We all want the resurrection life, but we forget that we have to die in order to get it. So if you feel like your world is closing in around you, don\u2019t give up.
