The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless.<\/strong> <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This Psalm deals with the feeling that God is not listening to the cries of injustice\u2014that He is not present. The brutal honesty of this Psalm takes us on a journey with someone who is overwhelmed by the wickedness around him, yet when he turns back to the Lord he sees things in a different light.
