It happened this way: Simon Peter, Thomas (also known as Didymus), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together. \u201cI\u2019m going out to fish,\u201d Simon Peter told them, and they said, \u201cWe\u2019ll go with you.\u201d So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This account occurs after the death of Jesus. It seems that when the disciples didn\u2019t know what to do, they reverted to what they knew best\u2014 for Peter, it was fishing. Yet once a person has been with Jesus, going back to old patterns don\u2019t quite satisfy the way that they used to. As these disciples were about to find out, Jesus had a plan for them that would change their lives.
