May you blow them away like smoke\u2014 as wax melts before the fire, may the wicked perish before God.<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This Psalm was probably written as a celebration of God\u2019s deliverance in the wilderness, but it also takes us to the power of the cross. When Jesus died, He took the power of death and sin and broke its power. The enemy of sin has been scattered; the power of death has been blown away by the wind. The story of Easter is one of victory. Wickedness will melt before the fire of the Holy Spirit.
